  • Taekwang Acquires Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun: Taekwang Industrial has signed an agreement to acquire the 400-room Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun from KT&G for approximately KRW 250 billion. The company aims to strengthen its urban business-hotel portfolio through this acquisition while exploring operational optimization and potential repositioning opportunities.
  • Hanwha, Profit Growth but Negative Operating Cash Flow: Hanwha Hotels & Resorts posted cumulative operating cash flow of KRW –7.3 billion for Q3 2025, a deterioration of over KRW 36 billion year-on-year. Meanwhile, cumulative operating profit reached KRW 47.8 billion and net profit rose to KRW 171.2 billion, supported significantly by bargain-purchase gains from newly acquired companies.
APAC
  • Active Hotel and Coliving Investments in Singapore: In Singapore, a Coliwoo–Macritchie joint venture acquired the Rehau Building for SGD 40 million with plans to convert it into a coliving property. Cove has also acquired Casa Mia Coliving, expanding its Singapore inventory to more than 2,000 units. Both the coliving and hotel investment markets are showing strong momentum.

  • Hilton to Rebrand and Redevelop Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley: Hilton plans to open the 203-room Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley under its Curio Collection by Hilton brand in early 2026. The property is currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar redesign led by DyeLot Interiors.
  • Hotel del Coronado Securitized in USD 970 Million CMBS Deal: Fitch Ratings has disclosed that the collateral for the BX Trust 2025-DELC CMBS is the iconic Hotel del Coronado, a resort property in San Diego. The transaction securitizes roughly USD 970 million in floating-rate mortgage debt into a single-asset CMBS structure, with the borrower pledging both fee-simple and leasehold interests in the hotel.
Europe
  • European Hotel Investment Trends: According to HVS Europe’s weekly transaction report, H10 Hotels has acquired the Monumental Palace Porto in Portugal, while LondonMetric purchased the Clayton Hotel near Manchester Airport. In France, Atream secured the Oh Baby hotel development project in Paris, and an Extendam-led consortium acquired Hotel Les Brises in La Rochelle with plans for a EUR 5 million renovation.
  • TFE Hotels Enters the UK Market: TFE Hotels has made its debut in the UK by simultaneously launching its Adina apartment-hotel brand in Cambridge and Glasgow. Both properties are renovated historic buildings offering studio-type rooms, kitchens, lounges, and meeting facilities, targeting both short- and long-stay demand across major European cities.
  • Hyatt Expands in Portugal and Cape Verde: Hyatt is accelerating its expansion in Southern Europe and West Africa, beginning with the 170-room Andaz Lisbon scheduled to open in Q1 2026 and the 197-room The Standard, Lisbon. The company also plans the 250-room Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve near Vilamoura Marina and the Hyatt Regency Cape Verde Sal, its first property in Cape Verde.
