Following the acquisition, Hanwha plans short-term improvements in F&amp;B and operational stabilization, while pursuing a long-term strategy to develop it into a premium leisure complex. The funds secured appear to have provided both short-term liquidity and the capacity to pursue long-term investments, despite slowed operating cash flow in the first half due to renovation work. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>APAC<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalitynet.org\/announcement\/41013088.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>Canopy by Hilton Makati<\/strong><\/a>: Hilton is set to open the 400-room Canopy by Hilton Makati in Manila, Philippines, in 2026. The project is being developed in partnership with Ayala Land Hospitality as part of the One Ayala mixed-use complex. Hilton appears to be accelerating the expansion of its premium brand portfolio in the Asia-Pacific region.  <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalitynet.org\/announcement\/41013084.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>The Chedi Niseko<\/strong><\/a>: Chedi Hospitality is making its debut in the Japanese market with The Chedi Niseko, a boutique alpine hotel in Hirafu, Niseko. Scheduled to open in June 2029, the hotel will provide premium experience-based lodging in one of the world\u2019s leading ski resort destinations, while also introducing seasonal culinary programs over the next three years as part of its gastronomy strategy. This marks Chedi\u2019s re-entry into Asia and signals its ambition to strengthen its position as a leader in mountain resorts.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Americas<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelinvestmenttoday.com\/Financials\/Financing\/Brookfield-s-Atlantis-refi-US-hotels-down-again-Hilton-debut-in-Virgin-Islands\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley<\/strong><\/a>: New York\u2013based Madison Realty Capital has announced a foreclosure process for the USD 2 billion Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley &amp; The Palmeraie development project. Prolonged financial distress and legal disputes led to the move, with the auction scheduled for November 12. The project includes a hotel, condominiums, single-family residences, and retail space.  <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelinvestmenttoday.com\/Financials\/Financing\/Brookfield-s-Atlantis-refi-US-hotels-down-again-Hilton-debut-in-Virgin-Islands\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>Hampton by Hilton St. Thomas<\/strong><\/a>: Hilton has opened a 126-room Hampton by Hilton in St. Thomas, marking its entry into the U.S. Virgin Islands. The hotel is owned by Haven Development and operated by Hotel Equities. Hilton currently operates about 50 hotels in the Caribbean, while the Hampton brand operates more than 3,100 hotels worldwide.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Europe<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalitynet.org\/news\/4128611.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>SUNDAY Hotel\u2019s Expansion in the UK<\/strong><\/a>: SUNDAY Hotel, a premium brand under OYO backed by SoftBank, is expanding in the UK. Having already entered key cities such as London and Cardiff, the brand plans to expand its premium 4 to 5 star hotel portfolio to 50 properties by 2026. With technology-driven efficient operations boosting profitability, its growth momentum is accelerating.  <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelnewsresource.com\/article137620.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>Travelodge Expansion<\/strong><\/a>: UK-based Travelodge is expanding its portfolio by rebranding four Ibis hotels. Three properties\u2014in Preston, Bradford, and Chesterfield\u2014were acquired outright, while one in Cardiff was secured under a 25-year lease.
